09.10.2021 – Mr & Mrs Delaurey – “Everything you could hope for”

“A week later and we still haven’t come back down to earth – we just want to relive every second of our wedding at the Mercure Tunbridge Wells. It’s been a long journey, complete with COVID postponement, but it was worth every single day of the extra year’s wait. We cannot thank the hotel enough for their support concerning this – they made what could have been a very stressful and costly process so easy and at absolutely no extra cost to us at all. Sophie and her team have been a dream, and on the day, the coordinators, restaurant/kitchen staff, etc were all wonderful. Professional, attentive and so friendly! We would recommend this venue to absolutely everyone. We had the wedding anyone and everyone would wish for!”

17.04.21 – Mr & Mrs Teatherton – “So accommodating!”

Sophie made this experience as easy and enjoyable as she possibly could. She was always quick to respond, kept us in the loop with relevant government changes and was so flexible and accommodating with last minute changes and personal things we wanted to make the day special.

We honestly could not have asked for more and we had the most special and intimate wedding thanks to Sophie and the team at the Mercure.

26.10.20 – Mr & Mrs Tait – “Thank you so much for everything”

Sophie and the team at Mercure Tunbridge Wells, thank you so much for everything you have done for us. From helping us with the initial upset of moving our wedding due to Coronavirus, to putting together the wedding day that none of us thought we’d have – it was all still so perfect.

As you know, one of our biggest worries for the day was my sister who has severe autism, but the staff made her feel so welcome and were so helpful, we all felt completely at ease with you. You truly are experts at what you do and we are so glad we picked you. We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts and although we’re now heading into lockdown 2.0, we sincerely hope you’re able to open for weddings properly again soon!

01.10.20 – Mr & Mrs Coulson – “Cannot thank you enough!”

We would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Mercure Tunbridge Wells Hotel for making our wedding day so special. We had to move twice due to the pandemic but we decided to just go for it and it was the best day.

The food and the service were amazing. The staff were so attentive and you made us feel so special. Although our wedding day looked different to what we first planned, you made it still so special for us, and for that we cannot thank you enough!

04.01.20 – Mr & Mrs Peltola – “So blessed to have found this venue!”

We literally cannot thank you enough for everything you did for our wedding day! You helped us so much and it really was the big family union that we wanted.

There was a lot to organise with 150 guests coming from all over the world but it ran spectacularly and we felt like we were part of an even bigger family with the staff as well. You all went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and team for our day.

Truth be told, I feel blessed that my aunt found your venue & thank you for you accommodating us.

We would like to say one last huge thank you for all the work and effort you put into our big day. We had an amazing time and couldn’t of chose a better venue. Would you also please say a massive thank you to all the staff that worked that day they went above and beyond for us.

02.11.19 – Keith & Jo Browne – ‘Everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to’

A massive thank you for making our special day run so smoothly. Every single staff member from the organisation, waiters, waitresses, bar staff and receptionists were extremely friendly, professional and so approachable. It made our day relaxing and stress free so that we could enjoy the day. Every guest without fail said that the food and service was fantastic and that it was the best wedding they had been to. Thank you so much once again for a wonderful and memorable day.

We would both like to thank you for everything you all done to make our day amazing. Please thank all the chefs, waiting staff and all those who was involved. A big thank you to you, Amanda, John, Ernest ( such a lovely fella, who served us the night before our wedding and he was there Sat & Sunday morning at breakfast ). & Patrick. Me and my new wifey Emma Duffield want to say a massive thank you for hosting our wedding yesterday!! Your organisation of it all made sure it flowed amazing and all the guests loved it! We are so happy we picked your venue for our big day!!

11.05.19 – Lynsey & Stuart Leigh – ‘Absolutely perfect!’

We had our Wedding reception here this weekend and would like to thank all the staff very much for everything they have done to make our day run smoothly. Our day was just perfect. From the very beginning talking to our Wedding organisers Sophie and Kirsten through to the actual day nothing was ever too much of a problem. The staff on the day were amazing very helpful making sure everything was to our liking. The food was amazing so a big thank you to the chef. All our friends and family commented to how lovely it was. Our room was lovely too. So a big thank you once again to all of the staff involved who helped make our day run smoothly.
