We are interested in booking our wedding with you, but are worried about confirming because things are still so uncertain with the pandemic.
Congratulations on your engagement! Now it’s time to get planning! But wait… there is a worldwide pandemic and you’re worried about making any firm plans for the future when things are so up in the air? We hear you.
That’s why at Mercure Tunbridge Wells, new bookings for 2021 and 2022 be able to change the date of their wedding once, with no extra charges!
And that’s not all… Any payments you have made towards your wedding will be moved over to your new date so you won’t lose out on any money you have paid; and any bedrooms that have been booked with your wedding will also be moved over!*

What steps are you taking to protect us and our guests from COVID 19?
There are a whole host of procedures that have been put in place throughout the hotel to keep both staff and guests safe. We have received certification from VisitEngland and the AA confirming that we are within the standards required. We are also part of the Accor Hotels ‘ALLSAFE’ programme which is above the local and international hygiene requirements.

*Applies to new wedding bookings only that wish to postpone their wedding due to pandemic restrictions that are in place at the time the wedding is scheduled to happen. Weddings that qualify can postpone up to 12 months from their original wedding date. Date change is subject to availability and on ‘like-for-like’ date basis. If date change is not like-for-like then price increase may apply. Price increases and other fees may apply for other suppliers such as the registrars – please contact them directly to discuss this.
